If you ever encounter a teenager engaging in risky sexual behaviors, I have the cure. Take them to a hospital (preferably a teaching hospital) and have them shadow a labor and delivery nurse through an entire labor and delivery of a woman having her first baby, and then ask them if they would like to do that. I can guarantee that they won't have sex ever again.
or babysit two twin girls who are 2 going on 12 - melt downs and locking themselves in a bathroom over a tutu. ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteyou didn't watch Private Practice last Thursday did you? Seeing a baby being born convinces a teenage girl to keep her baby instead of getting an abortion.
ReplyDeleteActually I just watched it last night and naomi played that one very wrong. She brought Maya in there at the very wrong moment. Of course they want to keep a baby when they see the mom so happy with the baby, but she doesn't have perspective. She should have seen her how long that lady labored and pushed before having that baby. It was just for drama purposes, trust me, those teens do not want to have kids after watching that.
